Turbo Fire AFTER BURN

I have now started my official schedule of Turbo Fire and ChaLEAN Extreme hybrid. Last week was a full week of the Burn Circuit of CLX, and this week is the transition into Turbo Fire. Well, I also got a Bodybugg this week. (For those of you that don't know what that is go here and read about it it's truly amazing http://www.24hourfitness.com/training/bodybugg/ ) So last night I got my Bodybugg all hooked up and loaded in my calories burned. I had the information and calories in the memory of the bodybugg from 2 Turbo Fire workouts (Monday – Fire 45 Class & Stretch 10, Tuesday – HIIT 15 Class & Stretch 10) I logged in strictly just that information, not even all day calories (which I’m not wearing it today either, though I should, I don’t think it really goes with my work outfit LOL) or my food log. I burned 1,559 calories JUST in those 2 workouts. Didn’t wear it during the 30 min. walk with my kids both nights, didn’t wear it any other time, JUST for those 2 workouts, and it was 1,559 calories. Sounds crazy right? A total of 80 min. of working out and that many calories! Well, it’s not! IT’S TRUE! My husband even commented to me after doing the Fire 45 class, (and I quote) “WOW I have watched you do Turbo before, but never seen it like that!!!” (PS I WILL get him to do it very soon!) THEN I put the Bodybugg BACK on my arm and did nothing. Sat on my couch with my laptop and literally did some biz on my computer. A half hour later (right before I went to sleep) I took the Bodybugg off (remember, NEVER moved my butt from the couch) and logged it back in and I had burned an ADDITIONAL 78 calories, just sitting on my couch DOING NOTHING! This really is NO joke. I burned calories sitting on my butt!!!

So of course after I posted that on facebook and twitter, I had a ton of people start asking me, “okay, seriously how did you burn 78 calories in 30 min. doing nothing?? That doesn’t make any sense.” Well, therein lies the reason for today’s blog!!! Today’s subject: THE TURBO FIRE HIIT AFTER BURN.

What IS the After Burn:
